A rare case of paraneoplastic cerebellar ataxia secondary to Gynaecological malignancy

We report on a rare case of paraneoplastic syndrome (PS) that was discovered completion diagnostic work up to be fallopian tube carcinoma. A 65year old female, presented with 1 month history imbalance, gait instability, incoordination right upper limb, vertigo and vomiting. Cerebrovascular accident drug intoxication excluded. Indicative further diagnosis presence adnexal mass in pelvis identification onconeural anti-Yo antibodies, detection which leads the confirmation diagnosis. The anti- Yo (Anti-Purkinje cell) antibodies specifically damage Purkinje cells cerebellum. Anti- related cerebellar degeneration is most commonly found women gynecological breast cancers.
